Easter Fireworks 2025: Where to Catch the Bangs This Bank Holiday Weekend
Easter. A time for chocolate, egg hunts, and… fireworks? Absolutely!
This year, the Easter Bank Holiday weekend is shaping up to be a proper belter for pyrotechnic fans. If you're on the hunt for a great day or evening out (and maybe a golden egg or two), here’s your round-up of the best Easter firework events happening across the country.
Free Fireworks at Clacton Pier – Easter Sunday
If you like your fireworks with a side of candyfloss and rollercoasters, Clacton Pier is the place to be this Easter Sunday, 20th April. This will be the first in their much-loved season of free fireworks displays for 2025, with ten more set to follow right through until November. But why wait?
The show kicks off around 9pm, but there’s plenty going on all day to keep the family buzzing. Rides will be open until 10pm on the Sunday (and until 8pm on Good Friday and Saturday), and there's soft play fun in Discovery Bay, free live music, and even a giant Easter Bunny making the rounds.
Kids (and eagle-eyed adults) can join the egg trail in search of a golden egg – find one and you’ll win a free annual pass for the rides. Not bad for an afternoon’s hunting. If you're planning to hit the rides, save yourself a few quid and book wristbands online in advance for £22.50 rather than £30 on the day.

Ardingly Springfest – Saturday, 12th April
Ardingly Springfest is back at the Ardingly Showground this Easter Saturday, and it’s bringing the noise – literally. This one’s for the adrenaline junkies and families looking for a full day out that ends with a literal bang.
Expect monster trucks, stunt shows, high-flying action, and enough fairground rides to spin your socks off. There’ll be live tribute acts taking to the stage throughout the day, food stalls dishing up everything from burgers to churros, and then, as the sun sets, the whole thing wraps up with a firework finale guaranteed to go out with a boom.
Tickets are still available at final release prices, but don’t hang about. Head to our full event article here for all the details.
Sandown Carnival’s Easter Fireworks Eggstravaganza – Saturday, 19th April
The good folks at Sandown Carnival were gutted to cancel their New Year’s Day display due to bad weather, but they’ve bounced back with something even better – an Easter Eggstravaganza to make up for lost time.
Set to go off on from 7:30pm to 8:00pm, this firework display will light up the Isle of Wight skies in proper celebratory fashion. Expect colourful bursts, smiling faces, and a real sense of community spirit as Sandown makes the most of its do-over.
You’ll find more info on what to expect from this seaside spectacle here.
