Autumn Lights 2025 – the Full UK Tour

Autumn Lights 2025 – the Full UK Tour

If Bonfire Night season ever feels like it passes too quickly, Autumn Lights has the solution: six nights, six locations, and two firework displays at every stop. It’s a travelling celebration of light, sound and entertainment, complete with food, funfairs, and a line-up of live acts that keep the energy building until the grand pyromusical finale.

In 2025 the tour stretches from Norfolk to Sheffield, stopping off in Harrogate, Lincoln, York and Cheshire along the way. Each event is a full evening affair, starting mid-afternoon with food stalls and rides, and running right through to a fireworks finale.

Here’s the full tour at a glance — then we’ll break down what to expect.

  • Cheshire – Saturday 25th October, Cheshire County Showground, WA16 0JJ

  • York – Mon 27th October, Elvington Airfield, YO41 4A

  • Lincoln – Friday 31st October, Lincolnshire Showground, LN2 2NA

  • Harrogate – Monday 3rd November, Yorkshire Showground, HG2 8NZ

  • Norfolk – Saturday 1st November, Norfolk Showground, NR5 OTT

  • Sheffield – Wednesday 5th November, Don Valley Bowl,S9 2DF

What happens at Autumn Lights

Each Autumn Lights event follows a similar pattern: gates open from 3pm, and from then on there’s food, drink and fairground rides to enjoy. Live entertainment runs throughout the afternoon and evening, including:

  • DJ Ryan Swain keeping the crowd moving with music and announcements.

  • Children’s character appearances early in the evening.

  • La Flamo Fire Show and Spark! Drummers, bringing fire and rhythm to the stage.

  • Tribute acts such as Young Elton, offering big singalong moments.

  • Family-friendly comedy chaos from Dick & Dom.

And of course, the fireworks. There are two pyromusical displays at each venue:

  • Children’s fireworks & SFX show at 7:40pm – shorter and slightly earlier, perfect for families with little ones.

  • Grand finale at 9:15pm – the full-scale, choreographed display with music.

Roaming glow performers add to the atmosphere across the site, making it feel like more than just a display — it’s a proper night out.

Food, drink and family touches

One of the strengths of the Autumn Lights tour is that it’s designed for families as much as fireworks fans. Expect plenty of hot food and snack stalls, dessert stands, and bars serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. You’re welcome to bring your own food and soft drinks, though glass isn’t allowed, and alcohol has to be bought on site.

The organisers also cater to families by offering ear defenders for sale at the bar and gates — a thoughtful touch, since these are very loud displays. And with hardstanding viewing areas at each venue, there’s no need to trudge through mud just to see the sky.

Tickets and pricing

Ticketing is consistent across all six events:

  • Online: £14.99 adults / £7.99 children (4–16) + booking fees

  • On the gate (if available): £20 adults / £10 children

  • Under 3s: free

Buying online in advance is the safer bet: cheaper and guaranteed entry, whereas gate tickets are strictly subject to availability.

Getting there

Each Autumn Lights stop is hosted at a major regional showground or arena with on-site parking included in the ticket price (except Sheffield which has off-site paid parking options). Clear signage for ‘Autumn Lights’ will direct drivers in, with stewards on hand to organise the flow.

For those travelling by train, stations in the nearest city or town (York, Harrogate, Lincoln, Sheffield, Chester for Cheshire, Norwich for Norfolk) offer connections, though you’ll need a taxi or bus for the final leg. Top tip: book taxis in advance, especially for the later finish after the 9:15pm finale.

Why Autumn Lights stands out

Yes, there are plenty of bonfire night displays across the UK. But Autumn Lights brings something different: a touring festival that combines top-tier pyromusicals with live music, comedy, performers and a family-friendly set-up. It’s not just fireworks at the end of a chilly field — it’s a full evening, carefully staged to keep everyone entertained from the moment the gates open until the last rocket bursts.

There’s also a certain British charm to it: the combination of fairground rides, tribute acts, DJ banter and hot doughnuts has the feel of a night out that’s both familiar and just a bit elevated. Like Blackpool meets Bonfire Night, but on tour.
