• Live Entertainment:

  • DJ Ryan Swain on the decks (4:00pm – 5:40pm).

  • La Flamo Fire Shows (5:40pm & 7:50pm) — expect flaming stunts that make lighting a barbecue look tame.

  • Spark! Drummers (6:00pm – 6:40pm) — illuminated percussion that’s part gig, part theatre, part street rave.

Skip the generic advice (“bring a coat”, “wear sensible shoes”). Here are a few genuinely useful hacks:

• Bring ear defenders for little ones. The organisers sell them on-site, but you’ll pay extra. Buy them online beforehand and you’ll save a few quid.

• Position yourself smartly. The fireworks are visible from across the venue, but the best viewing spots are central, slightly back from the funfair where you’ll get the music and the full sky view.

• Budget for the fairground. Rides aren’t included in your ticket. Decide how many tokens you’re willing to fund before your kids drag you past the Waltzers for the tenth time.

• Eat early. Food queues peak just before the Dick & Dom set and again before the fireworks. Grab your street food before 6pm for minimal waiting.

• Plan your exit. Don’t park near the main gate unless you fancy sitting in a traffic jam. The further into the car park you go, the quicker you’ll get out.
