Valencia: Fireworks, festivals and Formula 1 put city on tourist map

Valenica might be the third largest city in Spain but until lately it was largely absent from the tourist map.

Then last year the place got a huge tourism boost. The European Grand Prix was staged on a Monaco-style circuit around its picturesque streets.

It's happening again this August, and now British visitors can't get enough of the place - drawn by the glamour of Formula 1 racing plus other big events and a new City of Arts and Sciences complex.
