The British Firework Championship 2010

WHAT The British Firework Championship
WHERE Plymouth Harbour
WHEN 10th and 11th August 2010
WHAT TIME 9pm

The British Firework Championship 2010 is almost upon us.

One of the most exciting times in the UK fireworks calendar sees six professional teams vying against one another to be crowned British Fireworks Championship 2010.

Plymouth is once again the venue and the pilgrimage for many pyromaniacs has already begun. Hotels are booked and the town is fizzing with excitement as preparations are made for one of the countries most spectacular fireworks events.

Essex Pyrotechnics, 1st Galaxy and Reaction Fireworks will present their 10-minute displays on Tuesday the 10th August. Wednesday the 11th August will see Flashpoint, SM Art Pyrotechnics and Star Fireworks with their 10-minute efforts. Each team will be trying to outshine and out-bang the others.

Plymouth Hoe (which is a place, not a well known local lass) is the best place to view the fireworks. There will be entertainment in the form of a fairground (scream if you wanna go faster), live music and fat based foods for all the family.

It should be a brilliant 48 hours of pyro-action so take the wife, take the kids and take your mates for the best FREE fireworks display you will see this August!

Just to get your pyrotechnic juiced flowing, here is a video of last years finals. Enjoy!
