Summer Wedding Fireworks: Make Your Big Day Epic
It’s official – wedding season is on it's way. And if you’re looking for the perfect way to wrap up one of the most memorable days of your life (or help someone else do the same), look no further.
Here at Epic Fireworks, we’ve been absolutely inundated with orders lately from couples and families wanting to add that all-important WOW factor to the end of the night.
With prices tumbling over the past few years, it’s now possible to get a professional-quality fireworks display that you fire yourself, starting from as little as £324.00 for the Silver Bells display pack. Not bad when you think the average wedding cake costs over £300 – and let’s be honest, no one remembers the cake.
Our wedding packs are delivered free of charge (as long as you order 7-10 days before the event) and come with everything you need to set up a stunning show:
-
Full setup plan
-
Clear firing order instructions
-
Safety equipment included
It couldn’t be easier to create a truly unforgettable finale for your perfect day.
Summer Heat and Firework Safety
We had customer who travelled all the way from Burnley to collect a surprise fireworks package for his brother’s wedding (and bagged himself £120 worth of free rockets by choosing collection) asked a great question – are there any special precautions needed in hot weather?
With temperatures nudging now easily hitting the 30°s in parts of the UK, it’s a sensible thing to ask. Here’s the good news: while the bulk of our fireworks are classified as 1.3G (with some smaller items being 1.4G – find out the difference here), the storage advice stays exactly the same, even in a heatwave.
Here's how to store your fireworks safely in the summer:
-
Keep them in the cartons we provide.
Our fireworks come packed in strong “UN” cartons. These heavy-duty, multi-layered cardboard boxes are tested for safety and will protect your fireworks from damage in transit and storage. -
Store them in a cool, dry place away from children and pets.
Ideal spots include garages, garden sheds, or cellars – just keep them away from anything flammable like petrol, paint, or gas cylinders. Even with 30 tons of fireworks stored here on-site in steel containers (which get pretty toasty, trust us), we’re perfectly confident because heat alone won’t ignite them. It takes a flame or spark to light a Visco fuse. -
Always read the instructions.
It only takes a few minutes and it’s worth it. While most fireworks work in a similar way, there can be slight differences between products. Pay special attention to the setup and firing instructions for the smoothest show. -
Keep fireworks locked away where possible.
Although the key explosive components are safely sealed inside tubes with card plugs, it’s still a good idea to keep them securely stored and away from prying hands and eyes.
And above all else: ALWAYS FOLLOW THE FIREWORK CODE.
