Fireworks on Day for Culture of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups

VietNamNet Bridge – Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan has permitted the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to shoot fireworks off on the Day for Culture of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups, April 19.

The fireworks show will run from 9.15 to 9.30pm at the Culture and Tourism Village in Dong Mo town, Son Tay, Hanoi.

This socio-political and cultural event will be organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to attract a cross-section of ethnic minority groups from 33 provinces and cities nationwide.

It aims to highlight the various different cultural identities of Vietnam’s ethnic minority groups, educate people about patriotic traditions, and improve public awareness of the need to preserve and promote the cultural traditions of ethnic minorities.
