Final Batch of Tickets for London’s New Year’s Eve Fireworks Are Now on Sale
If you’ve been meaning to grab tickets for London’s world-famous New Year’s Eve fireworks, stop faffing about — the last batch is officially on sale and when they’re gone, that’s your lot.
Every year, the capital closes off a stretch of the Thames between Lambeth Bridge and Blackfriars Bridge, turning it into a huge but carefully managed viewing zone. These final-release tickets always disappear at speed, so if you fancy seeing 2025 turn into 2026 with Big Ben booming beside you and fireworks erupting over the London Eye, now’s the moment to pounce.
Below is everything you need to know, minus the nonsense.
What’s New for This Final Release?
This year’s final drop comes with a few changes worth clocking:
Prices have increased for non-Londoners
Due to enhanced security requirements — including compliance with Martyn’s Law — ticket prices are now:
-
Londoners: £20 or £35
-
Non-Londoners: £40 or £55 (depending on viewing area)
It’s not ideal for the wallet, but it does fund higher-grade crowd management and security planning — exactly the thing that keeps the event running smoothly.
The Mayor’s Office has confirmed the price changes are tied directly to upgraded safety planning — including compliance with Martyn’s Law, which requires large events to have robust counter-terrorism measures. That means more staff, more infrastructure, and more planning.
Tickets are ONLY valid if bought from Ticketmaster
City Hall is warning (again) that Ticketmaster is the only authorised seller. If it’s from anywhere else — Facebook Marketplace, dodgy “fan resale” sites, your cousin’s mate Dave — it won’t get you in.
Last year’s gate issues were largely caused by fakes. Don’t be that guy.
The Six Viewing Areas (Choose Wisely)
The official ticketed zones stretch along the Thames and offer different angles of the display. This year’s zones are:
-
Blue
-
Red
-
Pink
-
Green
-
White
-
Orange (Accessible Viewing Area)
Each offers its own mix of crowd levels, mobility access, and sightlines. For a breakdown of what each zone is like — entrances, timings, nearby facilities — check our full guide:

Why Demand Is Even Higher This Year
London’s New Year’s Eve display is one of the biggest and most-watched fireworks shows on the planet. Millions tune in on the BBC every year, and — as usual — there’s immense interest from UK travellers and tourists flying in purely for this moment.
Between the improved security measures, the limited capacity, and the global visibility of the event, this final ticket drop is expected to sell out faster than ever.
