FESTIVAL INTERNAZIONALE FUOCHI DANZANTI

FESTIVAL INTERNAZIONALE FUOCHI DANZANTI

The festival Internazionale Fuochi Danzanti or International Dance Festival Fireworks took place last weekend in the beautiful city of Reggio Emilia in Northern Italy.

The event has been run for a number of years and came about as the result of the joint forces of the Democratic Party, the local professional firework company and local cheese producing business.

The event keeps the spectators fully involved with the proceedings as upon paying the €2.50 entrance fee, they will each receive a voting card to choose their favourite display, which will also entitle the applicant to be entered into a draw for a weekend overlooking the spectacular Lake Garda.

The competing teams were as follows:

FRIDAY 1ST JULY 2016
PRIVATEX PYRO (SLOVAKIA)
SUREX COMPANY (POLAND)

SATURDAY 2ND JULY
PYROTEX FIREWORX (GB)
H C PYROTECHNICS (BELGIUM)

Whilst the competition pitted the abilities of some of the biggest names in the pyro industry head to head, resistance was futile as the unstoppable talent of Pyrotex Fireworx filled the skies over Reggio Emilia with light and colour. In the last few years this team have really taken on the world and beaten them time after time and on this occasion, the trend was certainly set to continue.

This competition comes just a couple of months after they won the 7th Philippines International Pyromusical Competition in Manilla and last year they picked up the Silver Vestal at Pyronale in Berlin with a display that was absolutely amazing and the audience award in Cannes.

The RESULT: winners of both the GOLD and AUDIENCE AWARD: PYROTEX FIREWORX.
