Watch the fireworks in style from the comfort of Catalyst’s 4th floor Observatory Gallery, where you’ll have the best view in the house for Halton Borough Council's big display. Gulliver’s World, Warrington

If you fancy a day of rides followed by a bit of sky-painting, Gulliver’s World has you sorted on November 2. The park’s staying open until 7.30pm, with a firework display lined up for 7.15pm to cap off the fun. At £20 a ticket, you’ll get your fill of rides and fireworks, but if you want to push the boat out, there’s a ‘Fireworks Feast’ package for £29, which throws in some stage entertainment and grub. It’s a solid plan for a family day out – just watch out for that post-candyfloss sugar crash.
