Epic Fireworks are once again delighted to offer their support to the British Firework Championships in Plymouth. You can even win £500 worth of fireworks (supplied by ourselves) by answering a question on the British Firework Championships website.

Tens of thousands of visitors attend each evening to witness the beauty and spectacle of the fireworks bursting over the stunning setting of Plymouth Hoe. Starting in 1997, the competition brings together some of the best exponents of the professional firework industry going head to head in the skies over the beautiful setting in Plymouth. Fun thrill rides, live music, and great food and drink concessions galore – a great evening out under the setting sun – what could be better.

Competing this year are as follows:

WEDNESDAY 14TH AUGUST 2019

NEMESIS PYROTECHNICS LTD – WETTENHALL, CHESHIRE

Runner up in 2017 at this event, they are here to make the best of their opportunity once again. They have been designing displays for more than 15 years and the team will be filling the skies over Portstewart at the Red Sails event at the end of July.

AURORA FIREWORKS – BILLINGSHURST, WEST SUSSEX

The company was established in 1996 and have never looked back. Their packed order book is a testament to their professionalism. They competed here in 2016 and earned themselves a well deserved 2nd place. Best of luck this time around.

PHOENIX FIREWORKS – WROTHAM, KENT

Earlier this year, they joined forces with Kimbolton Fireworks and are set to compete at the British Musical Firework Championships in Southport later this year. The company was established in 1972 and have a huge range of regular customers.

THURSDAY 15TH AUGUST 2019

ILLUSION FIREWORKS – WALLINGFORD, OXFORDSHIRE

Established a few years ago, this team have gone on to win just about every UK title available. In 2018 they won the British Firework Championships, the British Musical Firework Championships and Firework Champions event at Stanford Hall and this year, they have already picked up the win at the Firework Champions event at Newby Hall.

SELSTAR FIREWORKS – CHICHESTER, WEST SUSSEX

Established in 1995, their client list includes the armed forces, corporate/marketing events as well as weddings and local authority displays. This team is also competing at the Festival of Fireworks at Catton Hall in early September.

1st GALAXY FIREWORKS – SHERWOOD, NOTTINGHAM

20 years in the pyro business they are also competing at the British Musical Firework competition in Southport later in the year. In the meantime, they will be firing at the Nottingham Riverside Festival on Saturday 3rd August and every Wednesday throughout August, they will be holding the weekly display at Ingoldmells Fantasy Island in Skegness.
