After the success of the Spring Waking event from 2017, the organisers EEA (emergency exit arts) and Output Arts have collaborated once again, with the support of the Arts Council of England to bring you Spring Rising.

The event brings together the community to celebrate the arrival of Spring. The Vernal Equinox arrives on the 20th March and has been celebrated as a time of renewal and rebirth for Millenia. Included will be music, live performances, drummers and big screens with laser and pyrotechnic shows and lanterns will be carried along the community procession with illuminated flowers and spring related iconology.

The Spring or Vernal Equinox is characterized by an almost equal proportion of daylight and night balance. This event is still widely celebrated today by Pagans who refer to the event as Ostara.
