Enjoy a display with a difference and join the rocket train for the evening journey from Llangollen railway to Carrog, with a stop off at Glyndyfrdwy station for some fantastic pyro action. The event is growing in popularity each year and has sold out for the last 7 years, so make sure that if you want to do the trip, that you book in advance.

The train departs from Llangollen Station around 6pm. This is the main hub of the railway where the railway office is located, and it is open all year round. The engineering works are also located here, and the carriage and wagon department is around a mile down the line.

Stopping off at Carrog, which is close to the village, with its 17^th century Dee Bridge, a stunning river and mountain vista and a local traditional pub. You can then enjoy the stop off and see what is on offer. On the way back there is a treat in store as the train comes to a standstill at Glyndyfrdwy Station where the skies will be lit for 20 minutes with an abundance of sound, colour, and effects. You can either sit back and relax with a drink onboard or you can make your way out into the station for food and refreshments. After the display, the train will then return to Llangollen station for around 8:30pm.
