The Lifeboat Museum Poole

This fantastic event, which is free to the public, has been generously organised by BCP Tourism. It will be brilliant for families, friends, and couples for a lovely evening out, and will keep you entertained the whole night! The entertainment will include live music, street performances, rides, and activities, in a brilliant lead up to the fireworks finale at 10:00pm.

The Quay is a lovely location, with wide open waterfront paths, (hopefully) blue skies, and a calming sea breeze. If you plan on attending this event, why not make it a day trip and enjoy the summer weather, before heading down to the main event when it begins at 7pm? Just a short walk away from the Quay is the serenity of Poole Park, with boating on the lake, play parks and soft play, crazy golf and more!

Poole also has an excellent selection of café’s, bars, restaurants and shops, and also Poole Museum, which has free entry! We are certain that Poole is worth a visit during the day, as well as for this awesome event!

If you are feeling extra fancy, have a look into the Fireworks Cruise that is on offer. These will 100% be the best seats in the house, with crystal clear views of the fireworks show, as well as the lit-up harbour. The cruise will have open-deck seating, which will be lovely on a balmy summer evening. The boat is also home to a fully licensed bar, meaning you can sit back and enjoy a pint while you watch, and the kids can have pop & crisps! It’s a win-win.

Of course, going on the cruise will incur an extra charge, if you are interested in booking this, please click here.
