Lights back on for Vancouver fireworks festival

The hundreds of thousands of people who watch the fireworks in English Bay each year in Vancouver will get some good news on Wednesday.

The Globe and Mail are reporting that the HSBC Celebration of Light will go ahead after a sponsor stepped forward with a $400,000 donation -- enough to reach the $1.5 million required to stage the show. Click here to read more.
