Launceston Jubilee Celebrations Get A Much Needed Boost
It has been confirmed that Launceston will have a firework display to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee this June following receipt of a grant of £2500.00 made by the local Town Council.
The display will take place over the special Bank Holiday weekend in Coronation Park on Sunday 3rd June 2012.

DIAMOND JUBILEE GARDEN PARTY
All day in Lawrence House Museum Garden - 10.30am - last entry 4.00pm
A special Jubilee Flower Festival will be apparent throughout the Museum which has been arranged by Launceston Floral Art Group
Bring a picnic and enjoy a fabulous family day.
11.00am - Puppet Show in association with Charles Causley Festival Committee
2.30pm - Jubilee garden party with Festive Cream Teas
3.00pm - Launceston Community Primary School Samba Band
QUEEN'S DIAMOND JUBILEE STREET PARTY IN LAUNCESTON TOWN SQUARE
Music/Entertainment - Complimentary tea/coffee
NB: If bad weather, this will be held in the Town Hall

7.00 - 11.00pm - Coronation Park & Windmill Public Ground
Free entry to event with live music
Free entertainment for children including free bouncy castle
Beacon Lighting and free firework display at 10pm
