Katy Perry Fireworks Breakdown

Ok, so we've all seen the Katy Perry fireworks video but have you ever wondered how it was created?

Well, Anthony Chappina gives a breakdown of the firework tool that he created in Houdini for the Katy Perry's music video. He says, "Complete custom setup with lots of art direction controls built in and a custom caching/rendering workflow. Lots of python, dozens of OTLs, lost my mind".
