If you purchase illegal fireworks it is almost inevitable that your gonna have a bad time.

Fireworks in the UK are brought in under strict safety tests and must comply with British Standards. As soon as you buy fireworks that do not conform to the stringent safety rules you are dicing with death.

Illegal fireworks have been causing trouble for law enforcement agencies ever since the day they became illegal. It is anyone's guess what kind of trouble they caused before that but I would imagine not much given that they were, at that time, legal.

Never buy fireworks from a disreputable source. Always insist on a receipt and this is the golden rule. never buy a firework if you have not seen a video of it going off. If you do you are "buying blind" and goodness knows what you will end up with.
