Get Ready for the 2024 Patchway Fireworks to Music Event!

If you’re looking to make your Bonfire Night one to remember this year, look no further than the 2024 Patchway Fireworks to Music event.

Taking place on Saturday 2nd November at Norman Scott Park in Bristol, this is set to be an evening packed with fun, food, music, and, of course, a brilliant firework display!

What’s Happening and When?

The gates will swing open at 5:00pm, and you’ll have plenty to keep you entertained right from the off.

There’s Croles Funfair for all the thrills and spills you can handle, along with live music from Mini Concerts to set the mood. You’ll find outdoor performers bringing a bit of theatre to the evening, and a whole host of food and drink stalls to keep you fuelled up.

But, of course, the real star of the show is the 15-minute firework display set to a soundtrack of all your favourite tunes. And when we say favourites, we mean the ones that make you want to belt out the lyrics and maybe even have a bit of a dance.

The fireworks kick off at 7:30pm sharp, so make sure you’re ready for a visual and musical extravaganza.

Tickets and Entry

Now, let’s talk tickets. You can’t just rock up and pay on the door—this is a ticket-only event, so you’ll need to get yours in advance. Here’s the breakdown:

  • Adult Ticket: £5.00 + £0.42 booking fee
  • Child Ticket (under 16s): £3.00 + £0.25 booking fee
  • Family of Four Special (2 Adults and 2 Children): £12.50 + £1.05 booking fee

Tickets are limited to 10 per customer, so if you’ve got a big gang, make sure someone else is ready to buy the next set. With tickets in hot demand, you’ll want to grab them before they’re all snapped up.

Getting There

Norman Scott Park is located in Patchway, Bristol (postcode BS34 5JR). It’s easily accessible by car, and there should be parking available nearby, but it’s always best to arrive early to secure a spot. If you’re thinking of using public transport, check out local bus routes that serve the area, or hop on a train to Patchway Railway Station, which isn’t too far from the park.

What to Bring and What Not to Bring

It’s November, so let’s be honest, it could be nippy. Make sure to layer up and bring a warm coat, gloves, and maybe even a hat. If you’re planning on taking the little ones, think about some ear defenders for them—fireworks are brilliant, but they can be a bit loud for tiny ears.

Also, bear in mind that entry is by ticket only, so have those ready at the gate. You can’t bring your own booze, but with plenty of food and drink stalls on-site, you won’t be short of options.

Make The Most Of The Night

Patchway Fireworks to Music isn’t just your standard firework display—it’s a full evening out for the whole family or a bunch of mates.

Arrive early, enjoy the funfair, tuck into some street food, and make the most of the atmosphere before the main event kicks off. And remember, the fireworks are set to start at 7:30pm, so find yourself a good spot and get ready to enjoy a fantastic display that’ll light up the Bristol skies.

With a soundtrack to get everyone singing, dancing, or just tapping their feet along, it promises to be a night of entertainment that’s about more than just the bangs and flashes in the sky.
