Get Ready for a Fang-Tastic Time at Flambards Spooktacular Fireworks Night!

Halloween is creeping up fast, and if you’re looking for a proper good day out with the family, you’ve got to check out the Flambards Spooktacular on Wednesday, 30th October. It’s not just any old Halloween event; it’s got all the ingredients for a day packed with fun, frights, and fireworks. So, dust off your broomsticks and get ready for a spooky adventure in Cornwall!

A Full Day of Frights and Fun

Flambards is pulling out all the stops this year. The gates open bright and early at 10am, and once you’re in, you’re in for a whole day of rides, attractions, and Halloween-themed shenanigans. Whether it’s soaring up on the Skyraker or braving the splash on the Colorado River Log Flume, there’s something for everyone. And if you’ve got the little ones with you, they’ll love Ferdi’s Funland with the Tea Cups, Mini Carousel, and all sorts of fun rides.

If you fancy a bit of indoor fun (or maybe just escaping the autumn weather), don’t miss out on the Victorian Village and Britain in the Blitz attractions. Trust me, stepping into those cobbled streets will feel like you’ve gone back in time – just without the dodgy plumbing and lack of Wi-Fi.

Trick or Treat Week

Now, here’s the twist – the fireworks are just one part of the Trick or Treat Week running from Saturday, 26th October to Sunday, 3rd November.

It’s a whole week of Halloween themed activities like the Spooky Pumpkin Hunt, where you can help the kids search for hidden pumpkins around the park and solve the secret Halloween word.

You can also join Chris Kirk and resident mascot Ferdi the Fox for a Party in the Park at 1pm and 3pm with prizes up for grabs.

Stay for the Fireworks

The highlight of the week? It has to be the Halloween Fireworks Spooktacular on the evening of the 30th of October!

After a day of rides and entertainment, get ready to see the sky light up in a riot of colours. The fun doesn’t stop just because the sun’s gone down. You can head over to the Outdoor Stage at 7:30 pm and sit back and watch as the fireworks put the ‘bang’ in your Halloween night.

Food, Glorious Food

All that fun is bound to work up an appetite. Luckily, you’ve got a few options. Bring your own picnic, or grab a bite at Village Cafe or Ferdi's Burger Bar. They’ll be serving hot and cold food, so you can grab a brew or a burger, whatever takes your fancy.

Getting There and Tickets

Flambards is in Helston, Cornwall, so if you’re coming from afar, pop TR13 0QA into your sat nav, and you’ll be on your way. There’s parking available, so no need to worry about that.

Ticket prices can vary, so make sure you check their website for the latest details. And if you’re just interested in the indoor attractions, they do offer Indoor Attraction Only Days – perfect if you fancy soaking up some history without all the thrills and spills of the rides.

Whether you’re a big kid or bringing the little ones along, there’s plenty to keep everyone entertained.
