Get Ready for a Cracking Night at the 2024 Rushden Fireworks!

If you’re looking for an evening of good, old-fashioned fun with the family, then make a note in your calendar for the 2024 Rushden Fireworks on Saturday, 2nd November.

Held at Rushden Hall Park (that’s NN10 9NG for the sat-nav warriors), this is a night out that promises to be a proper treat for kids and adults alike.

What’s Happening on the Night?

The gates swing open at 6pm, so get there early to grab yourself a prime spot. The fun officially kicks off at 6:30pm with a DJ set from Beat Route Radio – expect some banging tunes to get the party started.

The bonfire is set to light up the night at 7:00pm, so you’ll have time to warm up those chilly hands and roast a metaphorical marshmallow or two. And then, the main event: a spectacular fireworks display at around 7:30pm.

Now, this isn’t just any old fireworks show – it’s all organised by the Nene Valley District Scouts, so you know it’s got that wholesome, community feel. Plus, all the cash raised goes straight back into supporting the young scouts of East Northamptonshire, so you’re not just having a good time, you’re doing a good deed too. Win-win, eh?

Getting Your Tickets

Here’s the deal with tickets: if you’re smart and get them in advance, it’s £6 for adults and £4 for kids (3-14 years old). If you’re a bit of a last-minute Larry, it’ll set you back £7 for adults and £5 for kids on the night. Either way, it’s still a bargain for a great night out.

Top Tips for the Night

A few pro tips for you – High Street South Gate is always jam-packed, so maybe try one of the other, quieter gates if you’re not in the mood for a bit of jostling.

Parking is always a bit of a mission, but thankfully, there are plenty of car parks nearby. Just check out the list on Parkopedia (that’s right, it’s a thing). The town’s car parks are free, so there’s no excuse not to use them.

And a little heads up – there’ll be loads of glow sticks on sale inside the park. Just remember, the scouts don’t see a penny from the glow stick sellers outside the gate, so if you want to support a good cause, buy inside the gates.

Why You Shouldn’t Miss It

It’s bonfire night! There’s something about the smell of burning wood, the crackle of the fire, and the sight of fireworks lighting up the night sky that just makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. And with all the money going to a good cause, it’s the perfect excuse to get out of the house and make some memories with the family.

So, grab your mates, round up the kids, and head over to Rushden Hall Park for a night of fun, fireworks, and a few laughs. Just don’t forget to bring a woolly hat – it’s November after all!
