This summer the skies of Ostfildern are set alight for 3 nights with the 3 competitors this year taking part in the International fireworks competition for the very 1st time ever.

Be amazed by the some of the best pyrotechnics in the world, along with the team from Ukraine, Hawaii and South Korea all fighting for the grand prize.

Not only are there fireworks on offer but an array of things to do giving locals and visitors alike something to do from 6pm onwards into the night. Why not go see some of the live bands on offer, have a browse along the market stalls, be amazed by the jugglers and acrobatics or for something a little different you can even book on a hot air balloon ride and see everything from the skies above.

This year celebrates the 16th time this event has taken place and last year had over 50,000 visitors to the park to witness the fantastic activities on offer and of course our favourite – the fireworks.

Everyone attending this year is in for a treat as the 3 competitors this year have never competed in Flaming stars before, so the expectations are high for every company to give the performance of a lifetime, to wow the audiences on the night.

Each competitor has the same budget as well as technical requirement to meet in the display. It is down to them to the jury that rates them exactly what they can do with it. The jury will use a certain marking criteria and award point to each team, the winner will be the highest score and will be announced on the Sunday around 11pm with a special presentation ceremony for the winners.

Before the competitors take to the stage at 10pm each evening consists of a fiery countdown to get everyone in the mood with a spectacular laser show.
