This event will be 9th Philippine International Pyromusical Competition bringing together the best international professional pyrotechnic specialists from around the world to battle it out for supremacy.

The UK has been fortunate in this event having picked up several wins over the years, but the last two years have been won by Pyrotex Fireworx in grand style. They are renowned for their symmetry and clean crisp lines and colour and of all the displays I have seen, this team has never disappointed. We wish them the very best of luck when they compete in March.

The opening of the event is left in the hands of local team Platinum Fireworks who will also be responsible for closing the event at the end of March. Platinum Fireworks swept the board in Calgary in 2017 picking up the awards for the Kids, Peoples, Best Pyromusical and Synchronised fireworks categories. Just amazing and a spectacular feat when you are up against the best in the World.

After the opening ceremony, the first competitors are the team from Switzerland – SUGYP SA. This team are well versed in competition and have won awards at some of the best events in Europe, picking up wins in Ignis Brunensis in 2013, Hanover 2014, Pyromagic in Szczecin in 2016 and last year they won Master of Masters in 2017 again in Szczecin.

It is going to be a close call with who is going to pick up the win so we will keep you posted and the next competition will feature the teams from Romania - Pyro Events and Germany - Steffes Ollig Fireworks.
