This is the last of the Firework Champions events for 2019.

The beautiful Ragley Hall is the venue for the final event of the year and this incredible stately home is the family seat of the Marquis of Hertford.

Built in the late 1780’s it comprises of the Hall, 26 acres of stunning gardens and hundreds of acres of wild woodland, created by internationally renowned designer Capability Brown, which is home to deer, pheasant, and squirrels and is enjoyed by hundreds who walk through the grounds annually.

Used today for a wide variety of private events it also supports music festivals, Tough Mudder challenges, and even classic car events.

It is home to the 9th Marquis but it was very close to demolition in the early part of the 20th century but was saved from the wrecking hammer when it was called on to be used in the first and second world wars as a military hospital. Between 1956 – 1958 the 8th Marquis had it refurbished and it was one of the first houses to be opened to the public.

Competing in this final event of the Firework Champions schedule of the Summer are as follows:

FIREWORK CRAZY – CHELMSFORD, ESSEX

This team is taking part in Firework Champions for the third time. They fire everything from private events like weddings and anniversaries to huge corporate displays and have a book rammed with Bonfire Night and New Year’s Eve displays every year, thrilling thousands of spectators.

MAGICAL FIREWORKS, MANCHESTER

Second, to fire are Magical Fireworks. This fantastic ground of people are thrilled to be displaying at their first ever Firework Champions Event. An unknown quantity in the competitive fireworks field, I am interested to see what they have to offer.

CELESTIAL DISPLAYS, LEICESTER

Established in 2008 by a group of pyro lovers, this team all have full-time jobs away from firework displays. This will be their first time at Firework Champions and as most of their work has been corporate this far, its certainly a great platform for the company to show their wares.

Once all teams have completed their display, the vote will open. Whilst the votes are cast, MLE Pyrotechnics will take centre stage to offer their finale display. As suppliers of the incredible Vaccalluzzo Fireworks from Italy, expect beautiful rich colours and effects.

Good luck to all competitors and hopefully by then we will be having something like a Summer (not counting on it but one can but hope).
