Firework Champions 2025: Arley Hall – A Night of Pyrotechnic Perfection in Cheshire

Firework Champions is making its grand return to Arley Hall on Saturday 6th September 2025, and if you love fireworks, competition, and a good excuse to sit outside with a picnic, this is not one to miss.

This isn’t just any old firework display—it’s an all-out battle between three top-tier pyrotechnic teams, each trying to outshine the others in a spectacular 10-minute choreographed showdown.

With Arley Hall’s stunning grounds as the backdrop, this promises to be an unforgettable night of light.. Throw in a drone show, audience voting, and a jaw-dropping closing display, and you’ve got yourself one of the biggest firework events of the year.

A Battle of the Best in a Historic Setting

If you’ve never been to Arley Hall before, you’re in for a treat. Set in the beautiful Cheshire countryside, this grand estate makes for a picture-perfect setting. There’s just something about watching fireworks while surrounded by manicured gardens and centuries-old architecture that makes it feel even more dramatic—like Bridgerton, but with more explosions.

This event isn’t just about watching fireworks, though—it’s a full-on competition. Three top firework companies will go head-to-head, each delivering their best 10-minute display, perfectly choreographed to music. After watching all three, you get to vote for the winner, meaning you have a say in who takes home the Firework Champions title.

Who’s Competing at Arley Hall in 2025?

This year’s line-up is all set.

Team One: First up is Star Fireworks, a team known for their cutting-edge effects and perfectly synchronised sequences.

Team Two: Next, Firemonkey Pyro steps into the ring, bringing their signature mix of creativity, precision, and high-impact bursts.

Team Three: Rounding out the competition is Monumental Fireworks, a team that lives up to its name with massive, sky-filling displays that push the limits of pyrotechnic artistry.

Once the competition is over and the votes are cast, it’s time for the closing display by Distant Thunder Fireworks. As the name suggests, this team doesn’t do subtle.

Event Timings – What’s Happening and When?

If you’re planning to make a day of it, there’s plenty of time to settle in. Camping gates open at 1pm on Saturday, so if you want the full weekend experience, bring your tent and claim your spot early.

For day visitors, the event gates open at 4pm, giving you time to find your perfect viewing spot, grab some food, and soak up the atmosphere. Just make sure you arrive before 7:30pm, as that’s when the gates close for final entry.

The drone show kicks off at 8:45pm, offering a high-tech display before the main event. Then, at 9:00pm, the three firework teams battle it out, each delivering a 10-minute choreographed masterpiece.

At 10:00pm, it’s time to vote. Your text message decides who takes the crown, so make sure your phone’s charged—no one wants to miss their chance to play judge.

At 10:10pm, Distant Thunder Fireworks takes over for the closing display. The winner is announced at 10:25pm, and by 10:30pm, it’s time to pack up, head home, and spend the next few days raving about the best fireworks you’ve ever seen.
