F1 fever at the Pavillion

KUALA LUMPUR, March 30 — Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, one of the most popular shopping centres in Malaysia, will be firing from all cylinders to celebrate the Grand Prix season from April 1-5, 2009, by offering treats to racing fans, shoppers and tourists to make their shopping and holiday in Malaysia a delightful experience.

For starters, a Shell Ferrari F1 car and an ING Renault car will be on display at KL’s best shopping mall.

Racing fans eager for driving action can rev up racing simulators and take part in the newly set-up remote control car circuit.

Shoppers and fans can watch “live” telecasts of the qualifying and race day events via giant plasma TVs at the Connection Pit Stop. They can also enjoy the unique “drink and dine” offers.

A musical treat also awaits shoppers and fans as Kuala Lumpur City Hall presents the first-ever KL Grand Prix Festival, featuring a Rockestra Extravaganza and fireworks spectacular.
