Closing ceremony expected to be a gala affair

The grand finale of the Indian Premier League’s second season promises to be a gala affair with renowned musicians and Hindi film celebrities slated to perform at the Wanderers Stadium, here on Sunday.

Actors Shilpa Shetty and Katrina Kaif, Caribbean music legend Eddy Grant and American R&B singing sensation Akon are some of the names who will jazz up the final.

The celebrations will also include performances from famed percussionist Sivamani and a group of Indian and South African drummers.

Spectators will also witness crowning of the ‘Miss Bollywood IPL South Africa’ and a spectacular fireworks display.
