Chester-le-Street Cricket Club's Firework Event Will Be Bigger & Better Than Ever

In a strategic move to enhance and preserve its longstanding fireworks tradition, Chester-le-Street Cricket Club (CC) has forged a partnership with Durham Cricket. This collaborative effort marks a significant milestone as the annual November fireworks event finds a new home at the iconic Seat Unique Riverside venue.

The relocation to Seat Unique Riverside signifies a pivotal shift towards expanding the event's reach, improving accessibility, and fortifying its resilience against weather-related disruption after inclement weather affected last year's event.

With a larger and more adaptable space available, organisers are gearing up to accommodate a substantial increase in attendance, anticipating a crowd of over 10,000 eager spectators. This marks a notable increase from previous years, where the maximum capacity was capped at 6,000 people.

What's On?
This will be the event's 35th year and just like previous years you can expect a well stocked bar, lots of food options including burgers, noodles and fish and chips, luxury hot drinks a DJ and fairground rides for the little ones.

Event Date & Times:
This year's date and timings are yet to be officially confirmed, but it's always held on the first Saturday of November, so based on that, this year's event is highly likely to be held on Saturday the 2nd of November. 

As for timings, again, this isn't officially confirmed, but it usually starts at 4pm, with the firework display kicking off at 6pm.

We'll confirm the date and timings once they've been officially announced closer to the time.

Again, this year's prices haven't been officially announced, but recent years tickets have been: Adults - £7, Under 16s - £3, Under 3s - Free
