CGI Fireworks for Wizards!

These days it’s difficult to tell when we watch the latest blockbuster film from Hollywood what is real and what is computer generated.

I remember as a young lad watching “the day the earth stood still” I was mesmerised when the UFO landed and ray beams destroyed the army’s weapons, and for a time genuinely thought we had been invaded.

As time moves on from stop-motion capture, think of “Wallace and grommet” to believable scenes such as the video below.

We even had an attempt ourselves, see the clip below

Walt Disney is credited with the phrase “if we can dream it, we can do it” and now it seems this is true.

This is, in my opinion, the best display of virtual fireworks to date, unless of course, you can suggest one we missed.
