British Musical Fireworks Championship Are Back for 2024

The British Musical Fireworks Championship is set to ignite the skies above Victoria Park in Southport again this year, promising two nights of incredible displays and sensational pyrotechnics.

As one of the region's premier events, this championship, running from the 20th to the 21st of September, it promises to deliver two nights of seriously epic firework displays.

Here's everything you need to know about this year's event.

The Competition

Six competitors from across the country will battle it out in Victoria Park to showcase their pyrotechnic prowess and vie for the prestigious title of the best of the best.

Each display is meticulously choreographed to synchronise with music, creating displays that will leave spectators spellbound.

Over two tonnes of explosive material are used during each show, with the total weight of fireworks exceeding 10 tonnes!
