Brean Theme Park’s End of Summer Fireworks 2025: Rides, Wristbands, and a Big Bang Goodbye

Brean Theme Park’s End of Summer Fireworks 2025: Rides, Wristbands, and a Big Bang Goodbye

If you’re the sort of person who thinks “summer holidays aren’t over until there’s a firework in the sky,” then good news: Brean Theme Park in Somerset has got you covered.

On Saturday 30th August, they’re rounding off the season with a full day of rides, sugar-fuelled kids, and a massive firework finale at 9pm. Think of it as one last hurrah before you’re forced back into the reality of school runs, work emails, and pretending you like pumpkin spice.

A Day Out That Doesn’t Empty Your Wallet

Now, theme parks aren’t usually known for “bargain of the year” pricing, but Brean’s actually playing ball here. If you buy your tickets online in advance, you can bag half-price wristbands and get in from 2pm — which means seven solid hours of whizzing, spinning, and queuing for “just one more go.”

Prices on the day? Still half price from 3pm. You’re looking at:

  • Tots wristband – £8 (aka, the one your toddler will insist on using every ride 400 times).

  • Junior wristband – £13 (great value, if you can convince them not to spend £20 on slushies).

  • Mega wristband – £16 (the “yes, fine, but don’t throw up on the Waltzer” option).

The Firework Finale

Once you’ve had your fill of rollercoasters and candy floss, the real star of the show kicks off around 9pm: a huge firework display lighting up the Somerset sky.

Brean’s calling it a “dazzling” finale, and frankly, we believe them. After all, nothing says “summer’s over” quite like standing in a field in the dark, pointing at the sky and going, “Oooh” and “Aaaah” in unison with several hundred strangers.

FAQs for Brean Theme Park End of Summer Fireworks

What time are the fireworks at Brean Theme Park?

The fireworks are scheduled to start at 9pm on Saturday 30th August 2025, rounding off a full day of rides and attractions.

Do I need to buy tickets in advance?

You don’t have to, but buying online is the smarter option — you’ll get half-price wristbands and early entry to the park from 2pm. Wristbands bought at the gate are also half-price but entry opens from 3pm.

How much are wristbands for the event?

Wristbands are half price for the event: £8 for tots, £13 for juniors, and £16 for the mega wristband (the all-in option for thrill-seekers).

Is the fireworks display included in the wristband price?

Yes. Once you’ve got your wristband, you’re set for unlimited rides and the fireworks finale — no hidden extras.

Where is Brean Theme Park?

Brean Theme Park is in Somerset, near Burnham-on-Sea. It’s the South West’s largest free-admission theme park, making it a popular choice for family days out.

Can I bring my own fireworks?

Nope. Leave the pyrotechnics to the professionals. If you want your own show, that’s where Epic Fireworks comes in — we’ve got everything you need for a safe, spectacular display at home.

Why You Should Go

Let’s be honest — there aren’t many better ways to wrap up summer than:

  • Unlimited theme park rides (with a handy wristband to prove you’ve rinsed your money’s worth).

  • A belly full of theme park snacks (regret optional, depending on how many churros you inhale).

  • A proper firework send-off that makes you forget September’s looming responsibilities.

Jonathan Pickard, Brean’s marketing manager, even called it “one of the best nights of the year” — and while he’s supposed to say that, he’s probably not wrong.

Want Your Own Firework Finale?

Not everyone has a theme park and a marketing manager to sort their end-of-summer send-off, but you do have us. At Epic Fireworks, we stock everything from loud, sky-shaking rockets to quiet, pet-friendly options, and even full DIY display packs that make you look like a pro (without the “oops, I set fire to the fence” drama).

Planning More Firework Adventures This Year?

If one display isn’t enough to satisfy your inner pyromaniac, don’t worry — we’ve done the homework for you. Our Ultimate Guide to UK Firework Events 2025 has all the biggest, brightest, and loudest displays happening up and down the country.
