1. Abingdon Bonfire & Fireworks 2024

Date: Saturday, 9th November
Location: Abingdon Airfield, Oxfordshire

One of the UK’s biggest fireworks displays is back with a bang! The Abingdon Bonfire & Fireworks is famous for its enormous choreographed fireworks, complete with a light show and lasers. With a huge bonfire and fireballs lighting up the night, there's plenty to keep the family entertained. There’s also a massive fairground to enjoy, with rides discounted to £2 between 3 pm and 5 pm. This event promises fun for everyone, from thrilling rides to tasty street food and entertainment galore.

2. Wokingham Fireworks Extravaganza

Date: Saturday, 2nd November
Location: Cantley Park, Wokingham

The Wokingham Fireworks Extravaganza is a family-friendly favourite that starts with a torchlight procession from Wokingham Town Hall to Cantley Field. Led by St Sebastian’s Band, the procession adds a traditional touch to this event. On Cantley Field, there’s a fairground, food stalls, and plenty of fun for all. The fireworks display starts at 7:30 pm and promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

3. Portsmouth Fireworks Display

Date: Tuesday, 5th November
Location: Southsea Common, Portsmouth

Portsmouth’s annual firework display, organised by the city council, takes place on Southsea Common and is a free event! While there won’t be a bonfire this year, the fireworks show is always a spectacular sight, set against the backdrop of the coast. With stalls and entertainment running from 4 pm to 8 pm, this is a great way to spend a Bonfire Night by the sea.

4. Weymouth Beach Fireworks

Date: Tuesday, 5th November
Location: Weymouth Beach, Dorset

One of the most picturesque settings for a Bonfire Night, Weymouth Beach hosts its annual fireworks display with the fireworks launched from a barge at sea. Whether you watch from the beach or the esplanade, the show is guaranteed to impress. The event kicks off at 5 pm with food traders on the Promenade, followed by the bonfire lighting at 7:40 pm and the main event at 8 pm.

5. Guildford Fireworks Night

Location: Stoke Park, Guildford, Surrey

Guildford’s Fireworks Night has something for everyone. Along with the firework display at 8:30 pm, there’s live music from ‘The Hired Guns’, a party band playing hits from The Killers to Taylor Swift. The kids will be thrilled to meet characters like Captain America and Elsa, and there will be plenty of fairground rides, face painters, and light-up toys. A brilliant evening of family fun!

6. Isle of Wight Fireworks at Blackgang Chine

Date: Saturday, 2nd November
Location: Blackgang Chine, Isle of Wight

Known for its summer clifftop firework displays, Blackgang Chine is hosting a final show before winter sets in. A full day of fun at the park is included in the admission, with rides and quirky themed lands to explore before the fireworks. 7. Bognor Regis Fireworks

Location: Nyewood Lane, Bognor Regis

8. Amesbury Fireworks Night

Location: Bonnymead Park, Amesbury, Salisbury

Amesbury’s Fireworks Night features a unique twist with a live set from a Chemical Brothers tribute act, ‘Chemical Dance’, synchronised to the fireworks and a full motion graphic laser show. With children’s rides, food, and drink on offer, it’s set to be an unforgettable night.

11. Ringwood Bonfire & Fireworks

Date: Sunday, 3rd November
Location: Carvers Recreation Ground, Southampton Road, Ringwood, BH24 1JD

This family favourite event promises a packed evening of fun with a fairground, live music, and a roaring bonfire. Expect two fireworks displays, including a quieter "low bangs" show for the little ones, alongside exciting fire performances and free children's entertainment. A brilliant night out for all ages!
