BLACKPOOL FREE FIREWORKS FIESTA NIGHT 2018

BLACKPOOL FREE FIREWORKS FIESTA NIGHT 2018

Of course, Blackpool has been synonymous with the World Firework Championships held annually, but this year, thanks mainly to the diabolical summer rail travel issues, Northern Rail has offered the seaside town £45,000.00 to fund a Firework Fiesta for the town.

Delayed, disrupted and cancelled rail services in the Summer was due to engineering works which adversely affected thousands of visitors to the North Western Coastal town, resulting in a drop of visitor numbers which naturally negatively impacted on the funding generated to the area.

The display will be fired from the North Pier with entertainment from 7.30pm onwards and the pyrotechnics starting at around 8.30 on Saturday 13th October.

In the meantime, this weekend sees Canada firing their re-scheduled competitive display following last weekends cancellation of the event due to storms and high winds.
