We often receive the artwork, paintings and drawings from fireworks fans but we stumbled across this excellent piece from Flickr. We love the colour and the energy here and the brilliant style of using big dotlike splodges to make the picture ( I am sure there is a name for this style but not arty enough to know what it is)

The clouds of gold and red in the centre of the picture are brilliant and the red trails of fire going up the way give a sense of a display in action rather than one that is stationary. We feel like we could be the spectators in the small boat in the middle of it all and feeling the sensation that every firework nut knows. That feeling of a display in the process. It's a wonderful emotion and captured beautifully here
