Malta Fireworks Festival 2014 Date Change Announcement

URGENT PRESS RELEASE ANNOUNCEMENT - MALTA NATIONAL FIREWORKS FESTIVAL 2014

Due to unforeseen circumstances with the inclement weather forecasted for Malta this weekend, regretfully the planned fireworks festival which should be taking place in Bugibba this weekend. They are expecting high winds on Saturday evening and as such have taken the decision to change the display to the Sunday evening, 27th April 2014.

The amended schedule is now as follows:

9:00pm - St Georges Fireworks factory Qormi, Malta
9:20pm - Banda Sant’ Andrija Fireworks factory Luqa, Malta
9:40pm - Santa Marija Fireworks Factory Mgarr, Malta
10:00pm - Banda l-Unjoni St Andrews Fireworks
Factory Luqa, Malta

The festival will end at 10:30 pm with a fantastic display from Lieto Fireworks of Italy, Winners of the competition in 2013.

The winners will be announced and the presentation ceremony is scheduled for 11:00pm.

The fireworks as mentioned in our original post are all being launched from barges in Bugibba Bay and the best place to view is Bugibba Promenade.
