Goodwood Racecourse Fireworks Concert

This Saturday 14th July sees the welcome return of this spectacular concert and fireworks display.

The show's director Amanda Sharp is overjoyed that 600 tickets have been sold already for what promises to be the best yet. Tickets are still available and as the same as last year, anyone booking in advance will not have to pay parking fees.

Once again the line-up promises to make the night memorable with no less than five tribute acts taking the stage.

Kicking off with a night of dirty dancing starting at 17:30 and culminating in a massive fireworks display at 22:25, the 20 strong team led by the Rev Ron Lancaster of Kimbolton Fireworks are sure to put on another WOW show, although we expect Ron to be sat back with his feet up “supervising” having just had a knee replaced, all the best on that one.

Other acts attending will be, crazy for Bublé, The magic of take that, Bee gee’s magic and the fantastic Queen B, said to be probably the best Queen tribute band around, a must-see for hardcore Queen fans.

Although barbeques and gazebos will be banned from the race course area a licenced bar will be available, the weather seems (if the met office forecast for West Sussex is correct) to be a little better for Saturday with just a shower or two during the day.

It may be worthwhile taking a waterproof ground sheet, a chair, and dressing warmly.

Whatever the weather we hope it doesn’t spoil the event.

Adult tickets start at £30, a family ticket for two adults and two children is £72.

11-16 year olds just £10 children under 10 accompanied by an adult enter free

If anyone is attending and films the fireworks display we would love to see it, as we are otherwise committed, just upload the video to youtube and e-mail us the link to sales@epicfireworks.com, and we will give you a mention.
