The teams fight it out during this two day international competition and the teams have to show their creativity, synchronicity and professionalism with a wide selection of colour and effect.

There are certain obligatory sections in the competition which all of the teams have to comply with. The first prerequisite is a 1 minute section without any musical accompaniment highlighting a single colour. This year, this will be BLUE-GREEN.

The second condition imposed is a four minute section choreographed to a set piece of music. This gives a good impression of the team’s capabilities.

Finally, it is then time for the freestyle section allowing them around 10-minutes of display closely choreographed to a 10 minute musical piece of their choosing. This really highlights the creativity of the teams.

The Jury, who will decide the overall winner is comprised of experts in the field of pyrotechnics and celebrities.

Last years winning team, representing Mexico, was Martarello Ramos Pirotecnia.
