WHAT: Pohang International Fireworks Festival 2011 WHERE: Hyeongsan River Sports Park, North Beach, and others (Pohang, North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea) WHEN: Thursday 28th July 2011 – Sunday 31st 2011
Pohang city will come to life on Thursday 28th July 2011 when the Pohang International Fireworks Festival starts at the Hyeongsan River Sports Park, North Beach, and other designated areas.
This year is action packed and all the events that will centre around fireworks, the competing fireworks companies from Canada, Poland, Japan and South Korea will battle it out to take the prize of the Pohang International Fireworks Festival 2011.
How to get There:
1. Northern (Bukbu) Beach – Take a taxi from Pohang Intercity Bus Terminal to Bukbu Beach (10 minutes).
2. Hyeongsangang Sports Park – Walk towards the Posco Bridge (15-20 minutes) or take a taxi (5 minutes) from Pohang Intercity Bus Terminal.
WHAT: The Bay City Fireworks Festival 2011
WHEN: 30th June 2011 to 2nd July 2011
The Bay City Fireworks Festival is one of the greatest fireworks shows in Michigan. People come from all over the Mid-West to see the show. The festival runs from June 30th, July 1st, and July 2nd with fireworks every night and entertainment every day. The spectacle is enhanced by its proximity to the Saginaw River, providing great viewing locations all around the park’s area, along with the river banks and from boats on the river.
$1 daily admission for Veterans Memorial Park
$5 daily admission for Wenona Park
Pets are not allowed in the Parks
Alcohol is not allowed in the Parks
No Grilling within Parks
