Oban’s New Year Fireworks Guaranteed

One of Argyll’s busiest tourist destinations has a long history of fireworks and displays and a massive line up of artistes from all over the area playing live well into the night.

Referred to as the Oban Hogmanay Final Fling is one of the most talked about events of its kind in Scotland. One of the previous acts to perform there were the spectacular Red Hot Chilli Peppers and with crowds of around 7,000 it must have been quite the show.

The organisers spend several months ensuring that the West of Scotland get the opportunity to celebrate the New Year in true style with multiple attractions to suit everyone in the family.

The fireworks are the brainchild of the Oban Fireworks team who bring in the New Year with a sky full of beautiful shell breaks.
