Hello everyone. A stitch in time saves 9. Nine what? The correct answer is nine stiches, but how about 9 weeks? There are now just 9 weeks to go until Bonfire Night (or slightly less, depending on when you read this…) So on with the features.

Here we have the Marvel Brand “Party Time” Selection box.

If you are the sort of person who simply picks up whatever he sees next to the bacon counter in his local supermarket, then this probably isn’t for you. But then, if you you ARE that sort of person then you probably are not reading this anyway.

That’s cool – you are the sort of person who likes to know what his selection box contains before buying! Thought so!

What do you get?

Four “Star Shooter” Candles – basic roman candles, sending up comets to a nice height.

Two “Big Shot” hexagon cakes. OK, “big” in this case is comparative, but these are potent little whistlers. Check out the footage on the website!

Five Sky Blasts – small bore mixed effects candles- crackles, whistles, coloured stars etc. Good for a bit of fun.

Three Mega Sky bursts – Much bigger “brothers” of the Sky Blasts – large and varied effects with noise from these!

Two Monster Mines – Lovely! A fountain, then suddenly this little beast blows its lid with a bang a shoots up an effect.

Mega Mine – Small, but wow, a powerful one – a fountain followed by a shrill whistle then a load of starts fly up. Well impressive for it’s size.

Magic Stars – 24 comets.

Six Fountains – different styles and effects – whistles, crackle and coloured stars. Ok, lets name them – 2 x Pyramid, 2 x Cuckoo 1 x Springtime and 1 x Snow Scene. Just doing what good fountains do!

Then to round it off, you get 2 Catherine Wheels as well!

So, there we have it!

26 fireworks in all, enough to add atmophere to any celebration. No, these will not be the biggest and loudest fireworks – for that, check out the single items, but as far as selection boxes go, and at these prices, you can’t go wrong.
