Are you really bothered about the shape of a firework rocket?

Anyone who has seen the film ‘Syrup’ or been in the marketing industry will no doubt attest to, there are a great many aspects to consider when marketing or selling a product, not least of all size and shape.

So, this begs the question, does it really matter what shape a rocket is? When all is said and done, the shape has little to do with the propulsion of the item as proved with the beautiful ball head rocket but is the shape really about our expectations of the rocket based on the fact that it ‘looks like’ the rocket you drew at school when you were 6!

The reality is when you go to the firework factories in China and have a rocket designed and produced you will be offered ten alternatives for the shape of the finished product head. Now some, you will of course recognise instantly but what about some of the others? Skulls, balls, crosses, arrow shapes and triple ball heads??!!

Let us know which option you would choose and why?
