Fireworks in Crimea

Fireworks in Crimea – in more ways than one.

There has been a great deal of coverage in the news of late about the situation in Ukraine. Vladimir Putin has said that the coup in Ukraine to attempt to take Crimea was non-constitutional and the people had chosen to return to Russian rule. Of course, this is highly speculative as without speaking directly to the people involved, we are in no position to impose our own thoughts on the matter in hand.

As a result of Laws introduced to annex the Ukrainian region under Russian rule massive fireworks displays in the cities of Simferopol in Crimea and in Sevastopol and Moscow in Russia lit up the night skies.

The fireworks were absolutely beautiful with some unique bursts and they were well received by the residents and visitors to all three cities for a good ten minutes or more.
